The quality of bulk bags directly impacts a company's subsequent market development; therefore, conducting specific quality tests prior to the products leaving the factory is essential. Today, we will explore two effective quality tests commonly performed on bulk bags before shipment.
The first method is the pressure test. A fully loaded bulk bag is placed on a compression machine for testing. The applied pressure is set to four times the bag's full load weight; alternatively, a static load method may be employed, utilizing the combined weight of four stacked, fully loaded bags. The pressure is maintained for a duration of at least eight hours. If, during this test, there is no spillage of contents and no damage to the bag body, the bulk bag is deemed to have passed this examination.
The second method is the drop test. A fully loaded bulk bag is hoisted using lifting equipment until the bottom of the bag is positioned at least 0.8 meters above the ground. It is then dropped vertically onto a hard, flat surface. If no contents spill out and the bag body sustains no damage, the bulk bag is deemed to have passed this test.
