Precautions for the Loading, Unloading, and Transport of FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers)
1. Do not stand underneath an FIBC during hoisting operations.
2. Ensure the lifting hook is attached to the central point of the lifting loops or ropes; avoid hoisting at an angle, using a single-sided lift, or pulling the FIBC sideways.
3. During operations, avoid friction, snagging, or collision between the FIBC and other objects.
4. Do not pull the lifting loops outward in a reverse direction.
5. When handling FIBCs with a forklift, ensure the forks do not come into contact with or puncture the bag body, thereby preventing damage to the container.
6. When moving FIBCs within a workshop, use pallets whenever possible; avoid transporting the bags while suspended from a hook, as this causes them to swing.
7. Keep the FIBCs in an upright position during loading, unloading, and stacking operations.
8. Do not place the FIBCs in a vertical, unsupported standing position.
9. Do not drag the FIBCs along the ground or across concrete surfaces.
10. If outdoor storage is unavoidable, place the FIBCs on shelves or racks and ensure they are completely and securely covered with opaque tarpaulins.
11. After use, wrap the FIBCs in paper or opaque tarpaulins and store them in a well-ventilated area.
