During hoisting operations, the rupture of a bulk bag can lead to severe safety incidents-such as objects striking personnel or falls from heights. For instance, there have been cases where workers, while slitting bags to discharge contents, suffered head injuries after being struck by suddenly released insulation materials following an unexpected bag rupture.

Some bulk container bags contain excessive levels of heavy metals (specifically lead, mercury, cadmium, and chromium), posing a threat to the health of frontline workers.

Consequently, regulatory authorities have already summoned certain enterprises for questioning due to their continued use of bulk bags that failed quality spot checks.

The state has promulgated mandatory standards-such as the *Limits for Heavy Metals and Specific Substances in Express Packaging*-to drive the green transformation of express delivery packaging and require enterprises to strictly control the use of toxic and hazardous packaging materials. These standards officially came into effect on June 1, 2024.

Bulk bags possess inherent reusability, and many varieties are manufactured using recyclable materials, thereby contributing to the reduction of resource waste.

The industry is currently advancing the development of packaging toward greater standardization, circularity, material reduction, and environmental harmlessness.
